There are four camps that students at Karoo have an opportunity to attend.
They are planned to encourage students towards creating independence.
Arrabri Lodge, Warburton
Students in Year 3 to Year 4 are invited to be a part of this 3-day camp at Arrabri Lodge, in the scenic Upper Yarra Valley. Students travel up by bus to Arrabri Lodge and will be spending their time walking through the bush exploring the environment, laughing lots, participating in a range of activities, eating plenty of food, on the ropes course and much, much, more! Melbourne City Urban Camp, Melbourne
This year, students will have the opportunity to learn about the history of Melbourne. The camp involves a walking tour of Melbourne, a visit to the Chinese Museum, Melbourne Museum, Melbourne Gaol, The State Library and The Royal Botanic Gardens .
Each of the visits and tours have involved an activity program based on the early settlers of Melbourne, which have been interactive and designed to bring history alive for our students.
Student stay at City CYC, on the corner of King Street and Collins Street, Melbourne.
Year 5 students: Monday 20 March – Wednesday 22 March 2017.
Information evening is on Monday 27 February 2017 at 6pm.
Ace-Hi, Cape Schanck
Year 6 students will be counting down the days until we leave for Ace-Hi Ranch down at Cape Schanck on the Mornington Peninsula. The camp provides a secure, fun-filled environment managed by friendly, professional staff. Visit Ace-Hi to find out more.
