At Karoo, we ensure that a comprehensive curriculum is implemented with a wide range of learning opportunities for students. Our school provides an inclusive environment for our students with a focus on Literacy and Numeracy that integrates all areas of the Curriclum, Cross Curriculars, technology and the latest 21st century learning approaches.

The school encourages a close relationship between home and school with the emphasis that education is a partnership between parents, students and teachers.

Karoo follows the Australian Government mandate of a curriculum that is to be implemented Australia-wide. This will enable a more consistent approach to education for students across the country and in particular for those students moving states.

The Victorian Curriculum incorporates the Australian Curriculum F-10 for English, Mathematics, History and Science within the curriculum framework first developed for the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS).

At Karoo Primary School, teachers have been examining the new English, Maths, History and Science curriculum and looking at improvements made.
