New School Fence

Here is a sample of the new fence that will be installed in the coming months at Karoo.

One Day One Song

Mr Oldham organised for all of Karoo to participate with the rest of Australia in singing this song on the Thursday at 11.30 am.

Everyone gathered on the artificial turf and following a countdown enthusiastically sung the song. This was followed by the release of one helium balloon for each class.

Camps

Year 6 Camp to Coonawarra

The third week of term 4 saw our Year 6 students off for 4 nights to Camp Coonawarra. Miss Robinson, Mrs Mac Donald, Miss Harman, Miss Poole and a number of parents helped ensure the camp was a great success.

It is an adventure style camp and activities are based around the camp itself.

Year 5 Camp to Bright

Our Year 5’s embarked for their 3 nights away in somewhat chilly conditions. Despite this however everyone had a great time. Mrs Denman, Ms Kilian, Mrs Wysocki and Miss Layton along with a number of parents ensured a wonderful time was had by all. Some students were even brave enough to have swim!!

Year 4 Camp to Arrabri Lodge

The Year 4’s under the guidance of Mrs Arnold, Mrs Thompson, Mrs Lambert, Mrs Murray, Mrs White and our valued parents stayed at Warburton for their 3 day / 2 night adventure. Everyone enjoyed the experience.

Year 3 Camp to Mt Morton Lodge

The Year 3’s ventured off on their first school camping experience under the guidance of Mrs Elliott, Ms Davis, Miss Deery, Mr Martin and parents. Despite only being a one night event all the students had a great time.
